“You made it!” my sister said greeting me at the airport
terminal.
“That was the bumpiest, most-delayed cross-country flight
ever,” I said collapsing into her bear hug embrace.
“As soon as we get to the house I’ll pour you a big glass of
wine!”

This reminded me so much of something my sister and I would do, except I'd be the one offering the boxed wine and she'd turn her nose up only to have her mind changed. Loved the story! Great post!

Hi Karen!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading and for your comment! I guess that makes you the cool sister and me the wine snob! Wine is such an education. It's a lifetime of learning, which is why it's great to share it with a lifelong friend, like a sister.
On with the A-Z Challenge!

Boxed wine definitely has gotten better. Although I still prefer bottles. I used to be a wine snob about screwtops on bottles but I've gotten over that too. The things one does for a good glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading and your comment! Yes, good wine--in any packaging--doesn't care about wine snobs! Love live good wine!
